Political introductions

This forum has been ignored so thought we could start this up with what ppl identify with politically! Only thing would be is that different countries have different parties so if you're gonna put the party you're a member of/would vote for make sure to put if they're left or right leaning to givev people an idea of your beliefs. I'll probably also add some forums about hot button policies, the big political events in (mainly my) country as a foundation for this all. Any more specific topics posted in the forum can also be a chance for education for those who don't know much and a way to share knowledge for those that do.

I just love politics so like this would be real nice if it took off!

I'm allie, 16 and at this time I'm a hard left winger, beginning to veer into socialist beliefs. I am also beginning to catagorise myself as an egalitarian but haven't done the readings for me to feel comfy in the label (The Noam Chomsky on my bedside table is also calling to me anarchism but that's a rabbit hole a few down on my reading list). Voting wise I'd describe myslf as a green party suppoter (very left) but a labour voter (as left as we'll get under First Past the Post). As you may have gathered from that I don't support first past the post and a want for a reform to Single Transferable Vote  within my country. 

So that's me politically! Please don't let this floop oops

The Fire in Her (wrote smth)

We sat on the restaurant balcony, fingers intertwined. Finally, we managed to get out and go on our first date. Her eyes shimmered in the candlelight as if there was an entire galaxy behind them, her smile lighted up the whole street. It was finally quiet, the sun was setting and everyone was slowing down. It was calm, everyone was tired of another busy day and going home to eat or going out for dinner. We'd just eaten and now it was almost time for dessert and some last drinks. It was nice, being with her. She was like the queen of chaos and calmness at the same time, furious and devine. Reckless, but cautious. She never took any dumb risk just for the fun of it without thinking it through, but that never stopped her from doing dangerous and odd things for little to no reason. She just wanted to always think before acting, consider things before saying something, judge before trusting her instincts.

they mentioned Bex TK and i cringed cause t u c u t e. they asked why, i said: because they're a tucute
they werent familiar with the term so i explained its someone who doesnt think you need GD to be trans

i mean, first of all thats not what GD is, second of all its literal science, its fucking basic biology. GD is what makes one trans.
i said it's a disconnect between ones gender and sex. they were just going on with their dumb arguments. i thought they were scientific and stuff but i guess not. ugh im so tired of tucutes. i later sent them the medical definition and got this:
'Yeah but how you always describe it you are actuallu feeling uncomfertable'
i- thats the fucking emotion not the medical condition so i said the following: 'the emotion is discomfort, the medical definition is a disconnect. dysphoria is discomfort. gender dysphoria is a medical condition. see ya.'
they didnt respond, as people losing an argument usually do.

i completely agree. exposing your sexual attraction (or lack thereof) can be dangerous, due to pedophiles and the sort. i honestly think labeling yourself as asexual at a young age, even if you've gone through puberty, is very toxic. i think you should wait until 14 to consider it, because sexual attraction doesn't develop fully until 16 for most people.
